Home Decor Wishlist

First and foremost, I want to declare I am one of those people who switches around their room ALL THE TIME. I am constantly finding new things I love and new inspiration. If I am going to succeed in the interior design career someday, I obviously need to have a knack for new ideas.

Home decor makes me sooo happy, so I am constantly browsing new options. Here are some things that I love and will hopefully end up in my room soon enough!!

My go to bargain place for accent items, blankets, pillows, lamps, etc. is Home Goods. Home Goods has so many different things that will blow your mind and complete your space. My desk in my “Office Space Makeover” was purchased on CLEARANCE at Home Goods. You can find anything from cute pet items to stationary. I can’t really post anything specific form here because every store is different in this case.

It is widely known that Target is most people’s favorite place to shop, especially for decor items. Their newest line “Project 62” is a mid-century modern theme and I love it. I’m not usually a fan of modern things, but I feel like this is a very nice mix of modern and more style (not as clean and simplistic); Maybe that’s not the best way to describe it but thats all I could come up with because I just have no words. Not only do they have this line but they have the cutest kitchen accessories and other brands like Hearth & Hand with Magnolia!

Here are only a few of my favorites:

floor lamp | throw pillow | wire basket | wreath | picture frame | patterned bowl | salt & pepper shakers | clear dome | vase

I am well aware that Anthropologie is a very expensive place to shop, but I have found that if you do your searching you can find select things that aren’t badly priced. Here are a few things cute I found:

globes | ladder | patterned bowl | “Be My Guest” tray

Next up a place I like to shop for accent pieces is World Market. With World Market items, in my opinion, their furniture is expensive but their small items or bedding is more reasonable. I go here often because in my town there is Home Goods, World Market, T.J. Maxx, and Target all in the same parking lot!! This is a really good place to get vintage-looking things and other unique things.

gold file organizer | aqua clock | carved desk organizer | bell pencil cup | telephone calendar | black & white pouf | blue throw pillow | basket | large gray planter | tribal ceramic hanging planter

Urban Outfitters has a great selection of bedding and even tech items. I love all their record players and cameras that are made to look old. They have all sorts of extra accessories for many different rooms!

Like I’ve shown below, there are rugs, desk accessories, couches, chairs and you can even order live plants ONLINE.

pink duvet | green duvet | floral comforter | movie poster rug |

pillow | lighted sign | copper clips

Hope y’all enjoyed this and maybe even gathered some ideas from it!!
